Industries We Serve
The regulations are written for everyone, but the work looks different in every industry. The chemicals differ, the tasks that put dust, fume or noise into the air differ, and so do the compliance requirements that come with them.
The pages below cover the industries where we do most of our work and what matters most in each one. If your industry is not listed, the underlying work is the same, so tell us what your facility does and we will tell you what applies.
Find your industry
- Aerospace Industrial Hygiene: Air Monitoring, Noise, ISO 14001 Air monitoring for hexavalent chromium and isocyanates, noise surveys, and ISO 14001 consulting for Arizona aerospace and defense suppliers.
- Automotive Industrial Hygiene: Air Monitoring, Noise Surveys Air monitoring for isocyanates, welding fume, solvents and carbon monoxide, plus noise surveys, for body shops, repair shops and vehicle plants.
- Battery Plant Industrial Hygiene: Air Monitoring, TRI Form R Air monitoring for lead, acid mist, cadmium and lithium-ion chemicals, plus TRI Form R reporting, for battery manufacturers and recyclers.
- Commercial Printing Industrial Hygiene: Air and Noise Surveys In a pressroom every solvent can be under its PEL and the air can still be out of compliance. See how OSHA's mixture rule works and how we survey.
- Electronics Industrial Hygiene: Air Monitoring, TRI, ISO 14001 Air monitoring for lead, rosin flux fume, acid mist and solvents in electronics assembly, plus the TRI Form R and ISO 14001 issues plants overlook.
- Food and Beverage Industrial Hygiene: Air and Noise Surveys Air monitoring for ammonia, flour dust, carbon dioxide, sanitizers and carbon monoxide, plus noise surveys for filling and packaging lines.
- Foundry Industrial Hygiene: Air Monitoring, Noise, TRI Form R Silica, metal fume and noise monitoring for foundries and metal casting, plus TRI Form R reporting, under OSHA's general industry silica standard.
- Metal Fabrication Industrial Hygiene: Air and Noise Surveys Welding fume, manganese and noise surveys for fabrication and machine shops, plus the TRI article exemption trap. Welders are rarely one exposure group.
- Oil and Gas: Air and Noise Surveys Hydrogen sulfide and benzene limits in oil and gas do not work like a simple 8-hour TWA. See which limits apply to your crew and how we sample.
- Plastics and Composites: Air Monitoring and Noise Surveys Styrene has three OSHA limits, not one. See where styrene, isocyanates and thermal decomposition products show up and how we survey air and noise.
- Semiconductor Industrial Hygiene, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Arizona semiconductor suppliers are being asked for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. See what TSMC's supplier standards say, what we sample for and when Form R applies.
- Woodworking: Air and Noise Surveys OSHA has no wood dust PEL of its own. See which limits apply, why wood species matters, and how we sample dust, formaldehyde and noise in your shop.
