Across the country

An air or noise survey is a 1-to-3-day visit at your facility, and travel is a modest share of the total cost. That is why plants often hire across state lines for this work.

Say you run a plant in Ohio with a hexavalent chromium problem. The nearest firm that has sampled stainless steel welding may be in Phoenix, and hiring the Phoenix firm is a sound choice.

We are based in Arizona and work on site across the United States. When we travel out of state, we schedule the visit to finish in consecutive days, not in repeat trips, and we calibrate our equipment at your site, not before we leave.

What a typical job looks like

1. A short planning call. We ask about your operations, the substances involved, the kinds of jobs and your shift schedule. It usually takes 20 to 30 minutes.
2. A written scope of work and a fixed price. The scope lists the number of samples, what we are sampling for, the methods and the turnaround time for results. It is not an hourly estimate that drifts.
3. The site visit. We calibrate the equipment before the shift, sample through the shift, and calibrate again afterward.
4. Laboratory analysis by an accredited lab.
5. The report. It compares your results to the limits that apply and states what you must do and by when.
